The call for oral and poster abstracts was closed on 4 December 2025.
With more than 880 abstract submitted to 79 different sessions, ranging from fundamental biodiversity-ecosystem functioning aspects to policy, finance, and law, and sorted into 9 thematic tracks with an additional track without abstract submission for cultural events and the arts, WBF2026 will bring together international researchers, artists, practitioners, companies and policy makers from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. On Sunday, 14 June 2026, a wide range of workshops, courses, trainings and other exciting formats invites participants for an active participation. WBF2026 is an in-person event in Davos, Switzerland, remote participation is not possible.
