About The Event
The mission of the World Biodiversity Forum is to contribute to a nature positive future with a focus on biodiversity. We provide a platform for various forms of interactions featuring latest research, science, art, policy, actions and translation on biodiversity. We foster interactive discussions across all sectors and stakeholders using keynotes, panels, workshops, social events, and informal „hallway“ exchange.
Attendants represent all of society and we exchange information between researchers across disciplines of biodiversity science, practitioners, policy-makers, representatives of Indigenous Peoples, businesses, the arts and the public.
We produce a conference resolution that is widely read and accepted by key biodiversity stakeholders (incl. CBD, SBBSTA, GEO-BON, etc.). More information and impressions of WBF2024 with more than 850 participants originating from 65 countries can be found here.
